From Craft Beer to Brunch, Russell House Tavern Delivers
February 12, 2018 |
Every Thursday at Russell House Tavern is Cask Beer Night, during which the bar staff pours a new brew that's been fermented in a firkin. Every night is Oyster Night — at least when you come after 11 p.m. A selection of East Coast oysters are just a buck apiece late-night at Russell House Tavern. Regular events like these are just part of the reason you'll want to visit this Cambridge hotspot.
The tavern also boasts a popular brunch. For something as light as it is sweet, order the torched banana and granola with locally sourced honey and creamy Greek yogurt. The EBLT also features regional fare in the form of two over-easy Maine Family Farms eggs from Portland, stuffed inside of a flaky croissant with sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and aioli. If you really want to go all-out for brunch, indulge in the Nutella-stuffed French toast with a specialty bloody mary on the side.
