If you're looking for refined pastries and food alongside some of the best coffee and specialty drinks that Harvard Square has to offer, you must give Tatte Bakery & Cafe a try. Already a new favorite for many, this bakery takes different tastes from around the world and delivers it back to the residents in Cambridge, in a sleek and clean environment.
The story of founder Tzurit Or is amazing. A self-trained pastry chef and acclaimed film producer from Tel Aviv, Tzurit opened her first restaurant in the U.S. in 2003. Since then, she has since been making delicious food, coffee, and pastries for people living in Massachusetts. At Tatte Bakery & Cafe you can expect to receive pastries and food made using the highest level of ingredients inspired by Isreal, France, and the Mediterranian. The interior has plenty of seating, but the location is often packed, so keep that in mind when setting up a lunch date with friends.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe is open until 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and closes early at 7 p.m. on Sundays.
